The primary objective of the Association is to teach, promote and practice the doctrine of Jain Shwetambar Murtipujaka religion. To achieve the primary objective, the Association can conduct certain activities including, but not limited to: (a) organising and celebrating auspicious events and festivals; (b) publishing and distributing instructional and educational literature to inspire the moral and religious conscience of the society; (c) organising classes, seminars, conferences and exhibitions to inspire and guide the society towards the principles of Jain Shwetambar Murtipujaka religion; (d) arranging tours to religious centres; (e) providing and facilitating religious, academic, cultural and intellectual exchanges amongst the Jain community, in all parts of Australia, India and elsewhere; (f) constructing, maintaining and administering Jain Shwetambar Murtipujaka temples, places or literature centres; (g) promoting principles of pure vegetarianism, nonviolence, nonpossession and multiplicity of views ( anekantvad ) through classes, seminars, conferences and exhibitions; (h) carrying on supplementary or other objects of general public utility for the society at large, in order to achieve the primary objective of the Association; (i) granting monetary support to other Jain Shwetambar Murtipujaka organisations or institutions with similar objectives where practicable; and (j) undertaking any other activity that has been identified as a charitable purpose under the Charities Act 2013 (Cth), in all parts of Australia, India and elsewhere
