The Vietnamese Community in Australia/ SA Chapter(VCASA) is a notforprofit organisation. The Vietnamese Community in Australia / SA Chapter Inc. (VCASA) was established in 1978, as a result of the arrival of the boat people (refugees) who fled Vietnam after the Communists had taken over the country. This community was originally formed to address the settlement needs of the Vietnamese refugees and to advocate for socially disadvantaged people and those whose human rights have been violated. VCASA offers the following specialised services: Social welfare services through Community Access & Services SA Education and culture through the Vietnamese Community School Vietnamese Cultural and Festival events Community Access and Services SA is a social service arm of the helping hundreds of culturally and linguistically diverse people in Adelaide Metropolitan areas. We have a wide range of programs and support across aged care, addiction services, community participation, the NDIS, mental health, youth, community education and maintaining cultural connections through festivals and events.
