Our purpose is to be a leader in delivering specialist trauma focussed services that work with the strengths and resilience of refugees, their families and communities, to rebuild lives shattered by torture and other traumatic events. We aim to build trust and confidence, promote wellbeing and achieve the best possible outcomes by: Valuing the inherent strengths and capability of clients and their communities. Our mission is to advance health, wellbeing and human rights of people from refugee backgrounds who have experienced torture and trauma. We work to achieve this by assisting refugees and asylum seekers and by providing them with access to mental health services; advocacy on behalf of refugees; education in refugee communities; increasing employment opportunities for refugees.
