Top End Women's Legal Service Inc

Top End Women's Legal Service (TEWLS) provided integrated legal and support services in the areas of family, migration and civil law, particularly in connection with domestic, family and sexual violence, to women and nonbinary persons in the Greater Darwin region (Top End). TEWLS' service provision includes legal advice, casework and representation (litigation), and legal information and referral, as well as community legal education and input on law and policy development with primary focus on the advancement of women's rights. As a specialist women's legal service, TEWLS provides traumainformed and culturally secure inhouse services, as well as outreach/inreach services across the Top End of the Northern Territory.
