The Trustee For Richard James Chester Guest Foundation

This is a charity designed to use nearly the whole income to build up a fund for the establishment of a scholarship or professorship in memory of Richard James Chester Guest. Small donations are made from time to time for eligible charitable purposes but only if it is impracticable to have the trustee pay for them personally by way of tax deductible donation. The building up of the memorial fund is aided by the personal contribution of the trustee in: a) substituting personal donations wherever practicable; b) lending money interest free to the charitable trust so that it can earn interest on what would otherwise be the trustees personal cash reserves. This charity is obtaining interest free loans so interest can be earned and, with other income, donations and capital gains be accumulated with the eventual purpose, as well as ongoing relatively minor grants, of establishing a chair or at least major scholarship preferably at a top30 university in Australia.
