We managed a statewide small grants and partnership program to stimulate community science engagement and participation in National Science Week, convened and broadcast a public lecture program on subjects concerned with science and society, held a roundtable of scholars and experts to consider the future of the Gippsland Lakes, held a public science forum on the future of Victoria's Forests, published and distributed a free monthly magazine, published an open access regional science journal, supported unincorporated groups as an auspicor, supported incorporated associations as affiliates, conducted awards for peak scientific career achievements, conducted research and science communication competitions and supported young adults beginning their science career.
