Living Legends is the first and only place in Australia that offers visitors the opportunity to meet and mingle with champion racehorses. We also aim to promote lives after racing for all horses. Our mantra for social and economic responsibilities is to maximize the benefits of Living Legends for all including the provision of education and learning opportunities for participants ranging from primary school students to industry placement opportunities for university students. The community benefits of having the homestead and gardens free of charge came to the fore during the COVID pandemic. Over the last year we support schools programs and hosted 16 work experience students. In addition over 140 University students completed practical classes and the industry placement requirements of their degrees with us. Items for school raffles and fundraising were provided and meeting room fees were waived for not for profits groups.
