The Agile Project - Wildlife Rescue Inc.

The Agile Project Wildlife Rescue Inc. (soon to be The Agile Project Native Rescue & Restoration Inc.) is a passionate group of dedicated volunteers committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife across Queensland. Our mission extends beyond animal care; as we also engage in vital revegetation and restoration efforts, enhancing habitats for wildlife and to promote biodiversity. Through educational programs, we raise awareness in schools and communities about the importance of conservation. In addition, we collaborate with likeminded organisations and individuals to maximize our impact. We re often approached for advice about updating policies that protect and preserve Australian native species at local, state, and federal levels. This is largely due to the trusting relationships we ve built over the years with government stakeholders. We have a Management Committee of 10 people and over 200 registered general members all completely voluntary (no paid staff). This is a huge evolution and testament to our abilities, as we started as a very small group back in 2017 with one founding member. With our soontobe updated name, we embrace a broader scope, reinforcing our commitment to both wildlife rescue and environmental restoration
