Teen Challenge Tasmania's activities are to facilitate those in addiction to access and enter rehabilitation. Prevention work is done predominantly through our Drug Demand Reduction Education within schools and sporting groups with our #NotEvenOnce program. Our Connections Mentoring program in which mentors engage with specific Primary & High School students in a caring, nonjudgemental, supporting way, often leads to significant shifts in the young person s selfworth. Hope Costume & Thrift Store & Hope Café are social enterprise projects raising much needed funds for Teen Challenge Tasmania s youth projects. In addition to fundraising their purpose is to provide reallife retail & hospitality training, experience and mentoring for young people in a safe environment. The Arrowsmith's Program, is a cognitive development and resilient building program to assist youth and adults with learning disabilities. It can help people with different learning challenges and help those who want to develop and maintain an active and healthy brain. Meaningful Art is an expressive art program designed to support young people who have been struggling with life issues to selfreflect, and safely express emotions.
