Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council

The Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council (trading as Seafood Industry Tasmania) provides representation and advocacy for its members wild catch fishers (holders of a Fishing Licence Personal), marine farmers and seafood processors. A overall objective is to support the environmentally sustainable management of Tasmania's marine resources, including the implementation of fishery laws and rules. We have a specific focus on supporting the mental health and skills and training needs of our members and the broader maritime community.
