During 2024, TFOM lobbied the Tasmanian Government about the need to fund training for OEM, lobbied various political candidates during the Tasmanian State Election Campaign, applied for Commonwealth Grants (STP Project and FATES) to support OEM training, recruited new members and convened an OEM Educational Session for Tasmanian doctors. The above activities raised awareness about deficiencies in the Tasmanian OEM workforce.
