Speak Out Association Of Tasmania Inc

We provided advocacy support to uphold the rights of individuals with disability including when their needs were not being met, when they were treated unfairly or when their supports had broken down and the individual was at risk. We facilitated self advocacy and peer support groups for people with disability across Tasmania and conducted Self Advocacy training programs that assisted people to understand their rights and empowered people in choice and control of their lives; and participating in their community including through leadership.
