The principal activities of the Archdiocese during the financial year were to provide: an administrative structure to support the Office of the Archbishop and the parishes of the Archdiocese of Hobart; a centre accessible to parishes for liturgal and adult and youth formation assistance; an administrative framework to support sick and retired clergy; and management of properties owned by the Roman Catholic Church Trust Corporation of the Archdiocese of Hobart and used for apostolic and welfare works, accommodation for sick and retired priests, and commercial rental.
