Raymond Island Koala And Wildlife Shelter Incorporated

We operate as an australian native wildlife animal shelter providing a free service to wildlife in need of care, specialising in kangaroos and koalas in east gippsland & gippsland. This involves tending to sick, injured & abandoned wildlife. Our service includes rescue, veterinary accessement by licenced vets, medical treatment, rehabilitation & release. We provide a critical service for wildlife. We have provided and continue to provide best possible care for the welfare of each animal. We always put the needs of the animals first. We ease pain and suffering for those we can't save and give life to those we can save. We have also raised many babies orphaned that otherwise would have died. We provide an opportunity for students to do work experience for those completing animal studies. This is undertaken through the local secondary college in bairnsdale, but we welcome all students looking for work placement in animal care.
