Helping Wings also known as South West Avian Foster and Rescue

We operated a bird rescue head office based in Murrumburah but servicing the sydney area with foster carers also based in Sydney. We tended to injured or lost birds and cared for them while looking for their owners, we also took in unwanted birds many with behavioural problems to care for them and work on their issues so that they could become adoptable. Those that cannot be adopted for various reasons, are kept at the refuge based in Murrumburah. We are working on our aim of providing a sanctuary environment for those that cannot be adopted.
