Friends of Waite Conservation Reserve Incorporated

Our members paid subscriptions and gave donations to assist with environmental conservation work at the reserve as well as attending working bees to help remove weeds and plant native plants. TAFE students attended training sessions in the reserve with training by Committee members. Training included native plant identification, seed collection, and propagation, weed control and planting native plants. Newsletters were distributed, occasional meetings held to listen to speakers on environmental topics and occasional events held at the reserve to monitor and study the plants and animals found there.
