Friends of Summerleas Wildlife

We actively promote awareness to the general public to encourage people to slow down between Dusk and Dawn to reduce the number of Wildlife killed on Tasmanian roads. This is achieved by producing and distributing signs, car stickers pamphlets etc. We screen the film Wildlife Warriors of which we are key protagonists, in Tasmanian schools and community events to educate both children and adults. We provide free of charge, specialised milk products to Wildlife Carers who care for orphaned and injured wildlife in Tasmania. We continue to lobby government and local councils to reduce speed limits.
