We advocated for grassy ecosystems in both reactive ways (submissions on proposed developments) and in proactive ways (in particular, development of a Biodiversity Network created by FOG/Conservation Council which the ACT Govt has accepted and is in the process of being implemented Organised work groups to improve the quality of identified patches of grasslands; plus representation on Governmentcommunity bodies Education through participation in community acivities and presentations; Environmental Restoration Design and Planning conference by invitation to discuss longterm management plans for various national lands in ACT/NSW.
