Friends of Araluen Incorporated

Our charity is a communitybased notforprofit organisation that collaborates closely with the local Araluen Arts Centre to deliver inspiring and inclusive arts and cultural experiences for the wider Alice Springs community. Throughout the reporting period, we supported and delivered programs across a wide range of cultural forms including visual arts, community arts, and music. These activities provided accessible opportunities for community participation, creative expression, and cultural development, with a particular focus on inclusion, local engagement, and artistic excellence. Our work contributes directly to our mission by: Enriching community life through diverse and highquality cultural programming; Supporting local artists and creatives by providing platforms for creation, performance, and exhibition; Promoting social connection and inclusion through collaborative community arts projects; Enhancing cultural awareness and appreciation within the broader public. These outcomes deliver clear public benefit by strengthening community wellbeing, fostering cultural identity, and making the arts more accessible to all people in Alice Springs, including those from marginalised or underrepresented groups.
