Being an Environmental Organisation our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and return native wildlife to their natural environment. Funding enhances the viability and sustainability of native wildlife species which would otherwise continue to be severely reduced in numbers. The efficacy of our natural environment depends on the seldom seen or unknown contribution wildlife has in pollination, tree seed distribution etc. We are the main contact point for members of the public who find sick, injured or orphaned wildlife in distress and who are concerned about the welfare of the animal. Without our organisation there would be very limited availability of fully trained experienced rescuers and carers to rehabilitate the many species of native wildlife. Funding assists with our training programmes to ensure carers are well trained and that they apply the best husbandry available according to the Code of Practice which governs our Rehabilitation Permit issued by DESI.
