Church Of The Good Shepherd

Good Shepherd Community Church is a faith community that seeks to nurture and develop its members while simultaneously striving to excel as a small, concerned, connected and contributing organisation that actively and tangibly meets the needs of the vulnerable in our local community. This twopart character of our purpose and activity, which we think of as 'grow' and 'go' respectively, is described by our mission tagline, 'Walking with our Saviour, connecting with the community.' We have a committed staff and leadership team who diligently and faithfully strive to enable both the growing and going that together constitute the purpose of Good Shepherd Community Church. It is pleasing to report that we have expanded our help to the community in need in all our more recent active areas of support, including produce from our community garden, frozen meals and frozen meat, nonperishable pantry items, hygiene items, vouchers for local supermarkets and butchers, and family Christmas hampers and care packs. Our longrunning weekly Bread Night continues to be wellserved by volunteers and well utilised by the local community. As a faith organisation, spiritual care is also offered to those who seek nurture at this level.
