Projects continually run over the past year and new projects are adopted. All project outcomes help the farming community and the Great Barrier Reef. Continued support has been provided to work with the growers in lowering their nitrate levels to protect the reef. Water quality monitoring and sampling has been continued. Also trials of different crops in the Burdekin are still being undertaken to see if they are viable for the future.
