Description of how your charity s programs helped achieve your purpose: * Our programs are 100% faith based, Christian music and Christian Ministry Programs plus Christian Presenters all meet our goal to provide a Voice of Hope and Outreach to our listeners. The positive nature of the programs provide hope, well being and self belief to listeners. * By airing government messages regularly throughout the day we ensure the public hear crucial safety information eg fire warnings, TAC safety messages, new TAC laws. * We provide a golden opportunity for Volunteers to offer their excellent services, build their skills and maintain their health at the radio in a number of forms presenters, technicians, board members, office volunteers, book shop volunteers. Many of our volunteers are various pensioners and carers plus some with disabilities. This work helps the individuals by being able to work, improve their health and at the same time provide invaluable services to the community. * All our presenters are trained to deal with listeners who call or text in for emergency help eg Lifeline. * Our 512 year old children's program has expanded with now and now has a teenage program as well. The children and youth, who are presenting on air, build skills and confidence plus improved well being. * This year we expanded our teen program by releasing a podcast the media this age group prefer. Teens and tweens have had the opportunity to learn how to edit audio programs, develop interview skills and discover the good in the community to then go on and share this love with listeners. * We took on a bigger role with our sponsors by supporting and promoting their campaigns plus helping them raise funds.
