Australian Sickle Cell Advocacy South Australia Chapter Incorporated

1. We distributed care packs at the Michael Rice Centre of Haematology at the Women and Children's Hospital and the Medical Day unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. These were then given to persons living with Sickle Cell coming for treatment at the centres. 2. We ran an hourlong radio program once a month at one of the community radio stations in Adelaide. The radio program aims to increase awareness about Sickle Cell Disease and also provide information to sickle cell warriors, carers and their families.
