Australian Friends Fellowship Of Healing Charitable Trust

The Trustees undertook a review of the governance structures for the management of the Charitable Trust Fund to better align with current practices and in preparation for the purchase and maintenance of new Homes of Healing. This follows the sale of the Home of Healing operating in Hobart Tasmania. The objects of Homes of Healing are to provide for persons who are in need of a period of rest and creative renewal away from the busyness and stress of life and who would thereby be helped to attain renewed health and wholeness. Homes of Healing to be conducted in accordance with the principles of The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) although its benefits are to be afforded and enjoyed irrespective of the religious beliefs of the persons received there PROVIDED ALWAYS that no part of the Trust property shall be used except for purposes which are charitable.
