Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations

The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) has played a critical role in uniting and supporting Ukrainians in Australia for decades. From local community empowerment to frontline advocacy, the AFUO provides a national voice and is a backbone for 22 diverse member organisations. Since the russian invasion of Ukraine and outbreak of war, our focus has expanded to support displaced Ukrainians, their integration, and our community s capacity to respond to ongoing challenges. We run programs that support the efforts of our leaders and volunteers, but critically, the wellbeing of our community through activities and events designed for cultural connections for our youth, elderly and newly arrived Ukrainians, especially during a time when it is needed most.
