Australian Dance Council Ausdance (Qld) Inc

We supported over 1000 members and sector build skills and develop capacity to operate sustainable and safe dance activities by answering questions, providing resources, support, advice and guidance as well as creating processes to manage activities safely. We delivered the Queensland Dance Education Conference 2024, to provide professional development to over 130 teachers, indirectly impacting over 1300 primary and secondary school students. We delivered training in filming and business management, fundraising, HR, grantwriting, contract management and negotiation. Safedance for Kids launched its first year in pilot stage, including development of content, First Nations Cultural safety for children in dance activities and additional fundraising.
