Australian Association For The Wellbeing Of Children In Health Care

AWCH has delivered a suite of effective programs, informed by children, young people and their family's views and experiences of healthcare. AWCH has continued to educate and raise awareness regarding the needs and rights of children and young people in the healthcare system. This has been achieved through involvement and participation in both Federal and State Government, non government, peak professional and consumer groups, and a number of planning, policy, project and research groups for child and youth health. The development of resources and support programs such as the AWCH Ward Grandparent Program continued and AWCH increased their social media presence to better advocate for children, young people and their families in the healthcare system.
