Australasian Cardiac Outcomes Registry Limited

ACOR has established a National Registry that collects data on all transcatheter cardiac valve procedures: aortic, mitral, pulmonary and tricuspid. The collected data is used in the accreditation of hospitals and physicians to perform the procedures. When sufficient data is available, it will be used for research purposes to improve the delivery of the procedures and also improve outcomes and hospital stay time. This impacts on quality of life of patients, costs to hospitals, health services etc.
