1. We provide pro bono orthodontic services to Cleft Lip and Palate patients in Timor Leste, who would otherwise suffer the lifelong consequences of no orthodontic treatment due to financial, remote or other reasons. 2, We advance education to orthodontic specialists and Student registrars through congress meetings and clinics, including the provision of financial support for orthodontic trainees to attend such meetings. 3. We advance education through workshops on the treatment and management of Cleft Lip and Palate, through mentorship and training programs in Timor Leste. 4. We promote clinical and/or research prowess, including academic prizes and collaborative research programs. 5. We display, store and preserve a collection of personal items, objects, artifacts and works of Dr Begg; and recognise and celebrate the achievements of Dr Begg to the Australian dental community for the education of the general public. Display, store and preserve other items, objects, artifacts and works of significance or interest to the orthodontic community or the general public.
