The Amelia Joscelyne Memorial Scholarship Fund provides funding for the Amelia Joscelyne Memorial Scholarship within the Melba Program. The recipient must be a female Australian opera singer aged 2128years. Training within the Melba Program is conducted by the Trustee, the Dame Nellie Melba Opera Trust. It includes artistic development, stagecraft, mentoring, personal and business skill development and performance. The training is delivered in Australia by experts in their field. This scholarship ensures the recipient can participate in this world class training program at no cost to the artist.
