Alan & Helen Ross Forestry Education Scholarship Trust

The charity's purpose is to provide a permanent employee or officer of the PNG Forest Authority or other persons who might work with or be associated with the advancement of forestry in PNG and who is a citizen of PNG with the opportunity to undertake an 'Approved Study Program' as defined in the Trust Deed at an Australian educational institution, as approved by the Trustee. The charity's work during this period required it to undertake research and negotiations into forestry courses in Australian universities to determine the most suitable study program to be offered under the scholarship.
