Acacia Ridge District Baptist Church

We meet every week on Sundays and also throughout the week for worship and prayer and fellowship. Part of this includes friendship and community, guidance for establishing a relationship with God and right living in the way that God instructs in the Bible. We fund and provide assistance to local residents who request food aid and other help. We run a weekly morning tea and monthly breakfast talk particularly targeting men over the age of 18, with an open invitation to locals to build community. We visit people who request help, and otherwise assist people in our own church community. The young and the old each have their own strengths and we work together. We run a Bible teaching group on Wednesday nights and also teach children aged 2 to 5 years old about who Jesus is and how his teachings apply to their lives. We are a multiethnic group including people who were refugees and have a real sense of unity across boundaries that divide others. We seek to have people know and deeply trust in truths from the Bible, and practically live it out in daily life like Jesus did historically.
