TPS is established and maintained as a grassroots group exclusively for charitable purposes (including any purposes ancillary to those charitable purposes), namely: - to promote education about the practice of deliberative democratic processes, in response to the climate crisis - to benefit the community by initiating deliberative democratic processes, in response to the climate crisis - to work as an independent entity in partnership with mana whenua, local communities, and elected representatives, to fully connect with the diversity of our communities in respectful dialogue and actions; - to support community groups that emerge out of these deliberative processes, such as Rangatahi, by providing back office processes and financial fund holding for grants; and - to support new ways of working through a Just Transition, in response to the climate crisis.
