To promote the benefit of the public in Northern Ireland (the “area of benefit”) without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, disability, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort:- (1) To promote Indian and ethnic arts, culture and heritage by: (i) organising, promoting, presenting, producing and managing festivals, concerts, performances, events, broadcasts, entertainments and exhibitions; (ii) stimulating the artistic creativity of people by the provision of training, support, facilities for artistic expression and the opportunity to take part in performances; (iii) encouraging appreciation for, understanding of and active participation in Indian and ethnic arts, culture and heritage. (2) To advance community development and, in particular, the promotion of the community and voluntary sector for the benefit of the public by providing support, information, services, and facilities to community and voluntary groups and encouraging and facilitating such organisations to participate in arts and cultural events (3) To promote integration, inclusion, diversity and equality, cultural understanding and social cohesion.
