To seek to alleviate poverty and inequality through locally led projects which address barriers currently limiting some community members access to justice, government and other services. Our projects empower and educate whanau to understand their rights and to navigate legal matters through provision of support and advocacy from qualified volunteers. By partnering with established social service organisations, our projects can reach whanau experiencing multiple challenges, and provide targeted support leading to direct and long lasting impacts such as debt reduction, compensation payments, retained employment and housing, recognition of rights and entitlements, and from that flows increased community connection, cohesion, participation and wellbeing.
