Tairawhiti Beneficiary Advocacy Trust was established in 2004 to advocate for families in need with Government departments e.g. Ministry of Social Development (Work & Income). We are a free information and advocacy service to low income families and beneficiaries to assist them to receive their full entitlements from MSD. We work across Te Tairawhiti and are the only group of fully trained advocates and volunteers whose primary focus is to provide this service. We also consult on a national level to make change.
