The Company has been established by Te Wai Mauri Trust to employ and train 10 unemployed staff members to undertake riparian and wetland planting, fencing of waterways and pest control. The primary focus of the Company is to restore the mauri of our local river catchments working in partnership with DOC, HB Regional Council, Napier City Council and Hastings District Council.
