To provide education and support in mental health to faith entities and the general community. Deliver recently NZQA accredited course in health and wellbeing support. Our current goals are to: 1. Support a network of counsellors and counselling agencies to service church and community mental health needs 2. Deliver the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 4 (Mental Health and Addiction Support) to train support workers for church and community environments 3. Support churches and their pastoral care teams with education on and supervision in mental health issues 4. Provide spiritual support in the context of mental health 5. Establish hubs of churches which employ mental health coaches 6. Foster external partnerships for co-working, training and referral 7. Participate in research and publication of materials, and develop service resources in response 8. Sponsor conferences and retreats focused on the Gospel as it relates to mental health.
