In furtherance of this purpose, the Society will strengthen and support the wellbeing, resilience and connectedness of the Huia and Cornwallis communities by:
(a) fostering community participation and social connection;
(b) providing and maintaining facilities and resources for community use, including the operation, maintenance and improvement of the Huia Hall;
(c) supporting emergency preparedness and community resilience;
(d) organising events, activities and initiatives that benefit the community;
(e) promoting inclusion and opportunities for individuals, families and whānau, particularly those experiencing barriers to participation;
