The objects of the Company shall be to:- (a) promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Carrickfergus and its environs (the “area of benefit”), and in particular but not exclusively the youth of that area, without distinction of sex, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to (i) advance education, particularly but not exclusively by providing programmes for the spiritual, personal, emotional and social development of the individual; (ii) preserve and protect health; (iii) develop the capacity and skills of the members of the economically and socially disadvantaged community of Carrickfergus in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help meet, their needs and to participate more fully in society. (b) To help make the love of God a reality in the community of Carrickfergus by developing caring and practical responses to personal and community needs. (c) To promote relationship, partnership and the sharing of resources amongst local churches.
