In particular the Trust will: - Actively promote the relief of poverty; - Support educational initiatives that will lead to positive outcomes and enhance the capability of members of Whakakī and Wairoa including: o education relating to health literacy; o education relating to land based solutions; o education relating to environmental protection including but not limited to emergency preparedness; - Support Māori and community innovation for improved outcomes including: o Iwi and other community based initiatives; o Māori and other community initiatives; o Māori and other land owner initiatives.
